Ang Ugnayan Para Sa Pangkapayapaan Ng Mamamayan, Inc.

Is a legal non-stock, non-profit organization promoting peace and community empowerment. Established on August 24, 2009 by community leaders envisioning a society free from hunger and enriched with dignity and respect for all.

We serve as a bridge between the local community and partner institutions, helping ensure that vital programs and services reach the people who need them most.

2009
August 24, 2009 Foundation

Foundation of the Organization

The organization was formally established as a non-stock, non-profit organization by a group of committed community leaders. United by a shared vision, they sought to build a society where peace prevails, families are free from hunger, and individuals live with dignity, health, and mutual respect.

2009–2020
2009–2020 Grassroots

Community Building and Grassroots Engagement

In its early years, the organization focused on grassroots initiatives aimed at strengthening community solidarity. Members actively participated in peace advocacy, community coordination, and informal support activities that fostered trust, cooperation, and civic responsibility among residents.

2021 Pandemic Response

COVID-19 Pandemic Response

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic marked a turning point. As communities faced shortages of food, medicine, and reliable health information, the organization mobilized quickly to respond to urgent needs.

  • Established a community pantry in Muntinlupa City for families affected by lockdowns and job losses
  • Distributed food packs, medicines, and essential supplies
  • Shared health awareness and infection prevention guidance

These efforts reinforced the organization’s role as a dependable support system during times of crisis.

2021–2022 Formalization

Legal Recognition and Formalization

To expand reach and strengthen partnerships, the organization pursued full legal recognition and successfully secured the following:

  • Mayor’s Permit
  • BIR Registration
  • BIR Certificate of Registration No. 007-352-873-0000

This milestone enabled greater coordination with government agencies and private partners.

2023–Present Growth

Expansion of Programs and Partnerships

With formal recognition in place, the organization continues to grow and diversify its services through stronger partnerships and wider community programs.

  • Strengthening partnerships with government agencies, law enforcement, and private sector groups
  • Advocating member access to housing programs including the 4PH Housing Program, with support from PAG-IBIG Fund and DHSUD
  • Promoting financial independence and sustainable livelihood through private-sector partnerships, serving as a community marketing outlet for affordable goods
  • Expanding services in peace and order, health and sanitation, education, and livelihood development
